Kristoffer Magnusson is a psychology graduate student with a background in web design and he is using his talents to create succinct, beautiful visualizations of statistical concepts. Below is a screenshot of his interactive tool for a better understanding of correlation and how it relates to shared variance (users can change the n-size and r and watch the corresponding changes in shared variance and the scatter plot). Using pulse rates to determine the scariest of scary movies

The Science of Scare project, conducted by MoneySuperMarket.com, recorded heart rates in participants watching fifty horror movies to determine the scariest of scary movies.
